First Use Method
1. The Switch of the New Pot Will Be a Little Tight for the First Time. Coat some Cooking Oil on the Sealing Ring, and Apply a Small Amount of Cooking Oil on the Upper Handle Stop Rod and the Teeth of the Pot to Facilitate Opening and Closing.
2. Close the Lid: When Closing the Lid, Align the "▽" Mark on the Left Side of the Handle with the "△" Mark on the Lower Handle, Buckle the Lid, and Turn the Upper Handle Clockwise Until the Upper and Lower Handles Are Aligned to Close It Completely (Special Note: When the Lower Handle Is Installed, the Slot Is Upward, and the Metal Is Downward).

I had ordered this product and was extremely happy with the product. This is a great, heavy product that will pressure can for years to come. The only problem was the canner was too large for my stovetop with the microwave above. I did have to return this product but will be keeping this in mind once i modify my kitchen so that i can have more head space over my stovetop.

Alright so this needs to be recalled. I just want to let everybody know that I bought this in January my husband used it 4 times and last night it exploded in our kitchen, water everywhere, scolding hot, luckily my dogs were outside and my toddler was in his room otherwise people would have been injured and I would have sued.

My garden went crazy this summer and I wanted to can them to have during the winter months. I bought this canner and read the recommendations, so I thought as a newbie, this would work. Overall, it did work well. However, the description of the unit said it came with a rack to sit the jars on. Mine did not. When I pulled the instructions out, they had placed a white label over the "includes rack" part. Since I bought based on the description, I wanted the rack. It's been 10 days since I reached out to the product vendor and have not heard anything back. Unfortunately now I must go through Amazon to see if they can help.
