PROS: WIres are well sized for the length of pigtails. Keep in mind for longer runs you will want to use bigger wire to avoid volt drops. Includes 2 relays so you can easily setup an IGNITION/START circuit and an ACCESSORY/RUN circuit which is normally you would expect to pay extra for. The relays are 4-pin 80Amp showing it is designed for reliability. For the price, I am impressed they included 2 sets of fuses!CONS: None really, only concern is any time I see generic fuses I raise a caution that if it is something of great value, spend a little more money and buy certified fuses such as BUSSMAN or LITTEL as you know they will perform perfectly every time, where I can't be sure of any non-certified fuse.Summary: Well designed and holders retain fuses very well. Perfect size for older cars that don't need a lot of electrical power or freshwater fishing boats, smaller campers, or even a serious ham radio backup battery power system where you could install a key switch to control the power delivery.

I had high hopes for this relay/fuse box. The fuse/relay box shows 8ga on the listing. I removed the wire loom so that I could route the cables the way that I needed them. I was very disappointed to find that the advertised 8ga is not 8ga. The terminal is for 8ga cable but the wires going to the ring terminal are two 2.5mm wires. 2.5mm wire is equivalent to 14awg. The power feed to the fuse/relay block are also 2.5mm (14awg).14awg wire is good for 15 amps up to 10ft. up to 13ft it is good for 10amps. This fuse/ relay block is only good for 30amps max. Anything over that is beyond the limits of the wire. The total fusing that came preinstalled is 105 amps worth of fusing. 105amps on two 14 awg wires is a fire waiting to happen.I am using this box to power 2 low amperage radiator fans for my old pickup. The fans I am using are 15 amps each so 30 amps total. 30 amps is the max amperage for this box as it comes shipped. The box can be modified with heavier cable to increase the total amp draw that can be handled. But, this is supposed to be a simple solution for 2 relayed circuits and and additional 4 fused circuits. Unless you are running low amperage accessories I would find another solution. The way this ships is a big footprint for my purposes. I can wire 2 relays that can handle 80 amps that would be a considerably smaller footprint.TLDR: light duty wires, dangerous if used as is. Box is only good for 30 amps total. No 8ga cable in this box at all.

Quality part. Wiring is sized appropriately and the individual leads are clearly tagged. Terminals are well crimped and lock firmly into the connector, which retains the relays tightly and securely with no wiggle at all. Cap locks in place with positive response, meaning it doesn't engage with any mushiness — you'll know when it's snapped in, and it's still easy to remove if you're deliberately doing so. No concerns about it being half engaged or popping open on its own.Overall I think it's a pretty solid product as-is, but if you're looking for something to use for modifying a headlight circuit in an older vehicle (AMC, classic jeep, and square body guys, among others, will prob know what I'm talking about here), you can easily accommodate 5-pin 87a relays by replacing a couple terminals and adding wiring for the 5th pin. The base will still retain the regular width terminals where it comes with terminals for wide pins installed.Very convenient and well assembled all-in-one solution.

I like this a lot, the pre-wiring and accompanied labels make this a super easy install. There's just a weird design choice that I'm not so sure about... the mounting points on the sides are not at the same level, meaning the box doesn't lay flat against whatever you install it in. I had to use a plastic spacer about a 1/4" thick to get it close enough so I didn't notice it. Seems like the box used is left over from another project and so they made a product out of it, I can't think of another reason why you would make a universal item and add that weird bit into it.For someone that doesn't know how relays work, the directions are pretty bad as they used the lowest possible setting on the printer and it's hard to read. The same diagrams are on the listing though and you can print that out instead.Other than that, this is pretty decent quality. I did wrap the seems in electrical tape so that there was no chance of water ingress. Everything works and easy to use.

Read the other reviews for lots of info the vender does not provide. There are no instructions or in-sites provided. They covered up the schematic printed on the relays with a sticker for relay #1. and the the other labeled as #2- why? I relocated the sticker so I could see the relay schematic. And in fact, labeling the relay means nothing - they are identical and therefore interchangeable. They should have labeled the socket that the relay goes into, as that is what is related to the individual wire labels in the loom. THEY should have included the color schematic shown in the listing - I had to go print it off the site - not easy to do. Also - as supplied the fuses ( in my case 15 amp and 30 amp) that feed the relays, are NOT, as shown, in their Color schematic . As illustrated its a 25 and a 10 amp fuse feeding the relays. Of course you can switch them all around as you wish for you use , just don't trust the , as suppled, to match the schematic

I have some aftermarket accessories in my truck (lights, fan, etc.), and the wiring at the battery looked pretty awful. This helped a ton. I was able to consolidate my wiring quite a bit. Build quality seems nice. It’s not hard to install or use, but a little electrical know-how is needed.
