I own shin guards without an instep from the same brand (Proforce Lightning) and they are considerably thicker and offer better protection on the shin than these. This product does offer some instep cushioning that the others don’t, but it’s an inferior product.

have to use daily so it molds to your feet!

I bought these for kicking the heavy bag in kickboxing class. Granted, these are good cushions, but they are very hot, the straps are uncomfortable. However, my biggest problem with them is that the slip to one side the more reps I do so that they are not padding the points of impact when kicking the heavy bag.They might be okay for kicking targets, but I don't think you'd need them for targets. I would not want to count on them for sparring
