These rear end covers are designed to strengthen the rear housing case, specifically in heavy torque situations. Once installed, the cover stiffens the main cap area for housing flex reduction that helps increase gear life and decrease ring deflection.

Leaks a little from center bolts

For the cost they need to include a gasket!The washers that come with the bolts are convex and look to have a liner (maybe rubber) on the inside. That should keep them from damaging the coating. Proper torque is 25ft/lb per the instructions. I'm going to have to disagree with the other review. The cover is powder coated and has the slight crinkle finish. Holes look to lineup well. I can definitely say it looks nice. Much better than the aluminum Moser covers.If the coating cracks when I install it I will update this review. If the metal was cleaned/preped properly it should be fine.Good packaging and ontime delivery. Deducted 1 star for the lack of a gasket.
