Spring rates have been chosen to reduce front end dive during braking, yet still provide excellent ride comfort. Progressive rate fork springs have several advantages over straight rate springs. A progressive rate spring has the advantage of a rising rate resistance to compression. The benefit of this is that the spring can be soft enough at the start of the travel to offer a plush ride, yet be firm enough at the end of the travel to soak up the big bumps.

First off the customer service is perfect. I ordered these springs and the same day I got a call to verify fitment on my 1981 Honda gl1100 because the company wants to make sure I get the right part. And second my bike handles soo amazing now the spring rate without air is perfect and soo much more predictable. The ride hight being increased a little in the front made the steering feel soo much lighter. Get rid of your old saggy springs and get a set of progressive springs

These springs are amazing! I installed them on my VW trike with a 1980 gl1100 frame/front end. No more bottoming out at stops and great handling in the curves. I have installed Progressive springs and shocks on countless bike both on and off road and am always impressed.Install their products and really enjoy the ride.

Perfect fit straight from the manufacturer and at a cheaper price, what more could you ask for? Best upgrade springs on the market for my gl1100. Progressive makes some of the best suspension out there. If you haven't tried what they have to offer, you should!

Excellent fork springs, had to replace the front fork springs on my 2002 Kawasaki Voyager XII, because the air ride went out. MAN!!! I should have done this upgrade a long time ago, the bike rides like a new motorcycle now, the turns are great going over bumps is greatly improved, no need to add air to the front forks, a must have for any motorcycle.

Installed into my 1983 GL1100 with less than 30,000 miles and regular fork oil changes. the factory springs had plenty of life left in them but while I was doing seals I decided to upgrade.Totally worth it! The bike is much more responsive and predictable now. You can really eat the turns up and still absorbs the bad sections of the road just fine. You you enjoy riding machine to its potential then you owe it to yourself to upgrade to the progressive springs.

Went on a 500 mile trip recently over rough rural New Mexico and Texas Panhandle road pavement in need of repavement, my 2001 Kawasaki Voyage XII ride comfort and handling were definitely improved. These springs have a greater spring range, longer than OEM springs, did away with the internal spacer and filter required by the OEM springs. Compared with the old OEM air ride springs, this upgrade was definitely worth the money. It is hard to believe that air pressure is no longer required.
