My 1976 FXE had been modified and lowered by 1" using the stock shocks. (Someone had cut and lowered the stock shock). This modification provided a very hard ride. I purchased the Progressive Shocks after extensive research. They are well made and completely adjustable to get the ride and handling you want.This was an excellent upgrade to my motorcycle.
