Upgraded from stock on my 883 sportster and they are great. I love these. They look great. They did a solid job for the cost. They were a breeze to install and fit with what was provided in the box. Happy I got them and looking forward to riding on them this summer.

Put this on my Harley 883 iron 2016. These springs DRASTICALLY improved the ride quality. Worth every penny. Night and day difference from factory springs. 100% recommend buying this. Installation is very easy just get the back tire off the ground; unbolt old and bolt the new in and your ready to go. Love that it’s adjustable. Set it at the highest setting for riders. I ride one notch down for solo. If this set was that much improvement, I can’t imagine how good the expensive springs ride.

I love these shocks! They come in a range of lengths and I dropped my rear by 1" so my feet could be flat on the ground on each side of the bike at a stop light. They also have 5 preload settings (the stock Harley shocks only had 3). I had to run the stock Harley shocks at the highest preload to keep from bottoming out. I'm only 155 pounds, so I thought the lowest settings would work because I only dropped the height by an inch when I put my weight in the saddle. I was wrong! I bottomed out way too much. I ended up putting it on the middle preload. It is a much firmer ride than the stock shocks and I only gave it 3 stars for comfort. It is too firm for the riding I do, but I am hopeful they are more forgiving once they break in. The kit that came with it was very useful in getting the right bushings and washers for my particular motorcycle, so pay attention to the enclosed instructions in the package with those parts.

Much softer riding. NYC and 5 borough residents pads are bumpy. This shocks helped a lot. For the $$$ I payed is a great value.

Useful tips:1.) taller the rear shock the more comfortable. (Stock height is 11 inches for iron 883) I bought 12” because I wanted a little more travel but didn’t want the bike to look like a cafe racer or scrambler with 13” (to each there own though)2.) If you are under 250 lb and don’t ride 2 up 60% of the time your ride then buy the STANDARD 412’s. If you buy the heavy duty 412’s and don’t meet the two criteria I just mentioned then you are going to be disappointed.If you have stock HD sporty suspension you need......yes I said NEED.....to buy at a bare minimum 412’s. After putting a pair of 412’s on my iron 883 it feels like a totally different bike. I am talking Chevy caviler to Cadillac. Any 412 11” and up is going to be a significant up grade compared to the stock 11” on the iron 883. Also important to note if you buy a length greater than 11” raising your bake end it will bring the rake of your front tire farther in (this means more “sport bike” like handling on turns). Notice how sport bike was in quotes.........a iron 883 will never handle like a real sport bike idc what you do to it it just won’t. Main point being just spend the $300 and buy these. I wish I did it sooner.

The 12-in 412s are great on my '07 Nightster. No more bottoming out on small bumps in the road. The black looks great and the back wheel is only slightly higher than before. Much better ride and much easier on my back.The stock shocks aren't meant for a back passenger. I believe these 12-in shocks will allow that. Made in USA. Quality product.
