Amazon show's this fits a 1999 Yamaha Roadstar Silverado. The paperwork that came with it does not list that bike on it's fit list. It doesn't have a clevis hanger so good luck if you want to put it on a Roadstar. I returned it and am currently waiting on a refund.

I ordered this for my 2000 Yamaha Road Star Silverado 1600. And the "Fit your vehicle" stated it fit that bike. IT DOES NOT!! Yamaha Road Star has just 1 rear shock suspension. I received a 2 shock suspension. Now I'm out of a suspension and my money for a month or more until I get refunded so I can buy the correct one. Thanks!

Put these on my old Suzuki Intruder 1400 and they are amazing way better than the stock ones at a quarter of the cost. They are a bit shorter than I was expecting and lowered the bike significantly. But handling is so much better. I would buy these again might put them on my other bike. But add an inch to your measurements if you want the stock seat height.

I checked with the manufacturers web site and this was kit the correct part. My bike, 2006 Roadstar Silverado has a single shock not the pair of shocks sent. I have no problem with the mistake (Amazon site specifically said it fits my model) but it is strange to have to pay for return shipping when the fault is the supplier not the buyer. Bad business practice for an online market.

Had issues with rear factory shocks bottoming out causing a jarring ride. These shocks improved the ride substancially. I am a 260 pound rider and am happy with quality and ride. Put spring preload on 2nd step. Just right for me

Purchased for 75o spirit then bought a VTX1300 before they shipped but didn't start return soon enough but discovered they fit my new bike so installed. BEST UPGRADE EVER!!!! Those are the only words I can come up with to describe what happened to my bike.
