Seem to work fine on regular roads with a few bumps but roads that have many bumps or high impact situations seems a little rough. Going to adjust them a little more and yes, I did set the sag.

Replaced the stock shocks on my 2019 Electra Glide Police with these and my ride has changed a lot. My bike’s handling is better in the corners and my comfort after 1000 miles is phenomenal. I noticed the handling right away. There must be a short break-in period because there is noticeable difference in the comfort level now. Wish I had found out about this upgrade sooner.

2016 Street Glide. Easy to adjust once bags are taken off. Much better shock absorption than stock. More stable on maneuvering. My weight is about 160 lbs for reference and I only preload one full turn so plenty of room to adjust for two up. Also I put these on with Advant Black lowering blocks. Which netted me about 1” lower.

I installed these on a 2016 Street Glide. The stock shocks are 12", I didn't measure them first and thought that these would lower my bike by 1". That didn't happen, the bike sits at exactly the same height, which is really no problem since it's a good height to begin with. My first ride was less than impressive since I felt like the ride was still quite harsh and i was expecting a little more plushness from the rear. Now I'll tell you that these are "sneaky good"...... I have put a couple hundred miles on and realize that the only part of the suspension that i notice now, is how bad the front feels. Before i put these on all i could feel was the god awful rear air shocks which felt like i was on a hardtail. These shocks did exactly as advertised, I put on a 13" shock in place of a 12" shock, the bike sits the same and the suspension travel has increased along with a much improved ride. I can't say that this is the best thing i have ever installed, however it is an improvement over stock by quite a bit. Based on other shocks that are available, these are hard to beat for the money. If there was something on Progressives website that tells a little more about which bike has 13" and which has 12" shocks it would have changed my decision to purchase the Ultra Low shocks instead. I'm still happy with the end result, but i did have my heart set on 1" lower as all their videos suggest. That is the reason for 4 stars.

Put these shocks on my 2014 ultra limited and could not be happier. These should be the standard shocks from Harley. 15 minute install make sure you have a jack for motorcycles. Easy preload adjustment. Quality is superb. I am 160lbs and ride with and without 2 up and tourpak was able to set the shock at the second notch and the bike is perfect. No more odd bouncing, bottoming, harshness from potholes like from the old air shocks. The bike feels very planted around corners no loss of traction or sliding like the old air shocks. You can feel the rear wheel track every bump with excellent rebound control. Lowered my rear by 1 inch. After installing these I put the Premium HD low front fork kit from HD and it was a perfect match. The bike with the fork and rear upgraded tracks around corners like my 14 BMW R 1200RT. Best upgrade I have done to the bike. I wish I would have done this upgrade before all others. Shame on Harley for not putting shocks like these as standard. The level of safety these shocks provide when cornering and braking is priceless. I used to fly up off the seat on some hard bumps and with these shocks I never do. Being able to flat foot with the lowered stance makes for more fun on the bike no worrying about parking or off level parking lots or lots with gravel. More stability in high winds while cruising on the highway also with the lowered stance.

If you weight less than 190lbs and are experiencing a harsh ride on your 2014-2016 Harley street glide then get these shocks and ride in new found comfort. I'm very pleased with the ride, build quality, performance, adjustability and ease of installation of these awesome shocks.

I mounted a set of these on my 2013 road glide and I really like them. The ride is tremendously better and I don't have to worry forgetting to put air in the shocks. At first I wasn't sure if I had made a good decision on these shocks but after a couple of rides and a few adjustments I am happy with them. I went back an forth on whether to get the heavy duty shocks or not and finally just bit the bullet and bought these (non-heavy duty). I weigh 250 lbs and my girlfriend weighs 110 lbs but she brings 20 lbs of stuff with her when we ride. We have finally found a good setting for a comfortable ride. Let me just say that we had the pre-load set too low and it caused us a rough ride at first. I really think the best way to adjust the pre-load is to start out low and work your way up until the ride gets worse then go back to your last setting, this is not what the directions say.
