This but was a very hard plastic and had a bad smell

The bit arrived in a clear bag. The bit had a black dust on it when it arrived. It would clean off of the actual plastic parts on the outside, but was still inside where the snaffle pieces attach. I couldn't get it off. In addition, the middle piece does not roll like a happy mouth. I returned as my horse loves the roller in the middle. I also questioned what the black dust was that was on it.
