I paired these with JBL foot pockets and they work very well. The blades are soft and deliver good power while allowing you stay in the water for longs periods of time without getting tired. In use these for spearfishing (freediving), usually in sites with strong current and no deeper than 30-35 ft; however, they are very efficient. Since I bought these mainly for efficiency purposes and I got soft blades, I will say you will not outrun fish, but will be able to stay close enough to not lose them. In my case the was my first upgrade from plastic/rubber fins and it exceeded all expectations.
