Warped and became uncomfortable to wear after less than a week. I would not recommend. For the horrific price I’d expect 6 to 12 months out of this brace. 4 or 5 days does not cut it.

This is a very pricey brace, however it works best for me as I have tried several of the others 1st, plastic and material fabric. There is a bit more detail and craftsmanship with this brace. After several months of use, a strap broke and I had to contact the manufacturer. Their customer service was excellent as they replaced the brace upon my providing them pictures. It was done expeditiously. Bravo! I still use my other braces when appropriate, however this brand works best for my drop foot.

I have MS causing severe weakness in my left leg and foot causing toe drop and turning my foot inwards. As soon as I put this brace on, I was able to walk almost normal. I no longer am tripping over my toes because they were dragging. It’s amazing. However, the plastic bottom and the sole pad have come apart after about 3 weeks of use. I can’t use it unless it’s replaced or repaired.

I wear this brace in my Thorogood boots at work and with skate shoes when not at work. The trickiest thing with this brace is getting the heel portion to fit in the boot/shoe. To get it to fit in my boot I had to cut tongue back a ways and high ankled boots help as well as there is more material to guide the braced foot in to the boot. A shoe funnel works well with getting it to fit in the skate shoes. I buy a size over what I normally wore before I got drop foot so theres a little extra room for everything.

I have a carbon fiber brace that really doesn't stop my ankle from going sideways when walking on a grade, such as mowing the lawn. I saw this and thought that it would help since the brace runs vertical behind the ankle. Combine that with the crossing straps it seems like it would be more rigid. Unfortunately that is not the case here. No improvement over my other brace. It does work well in my work boots as they already are 8" steel toe shoes. However at work I don't have to contend with sideways grades, only level floors and stairs. I had hoped that I could use this in any shoe and be rigid. There are other braces here on Amazon that are considerably less money that would do the same as this. I may try one of those.

I wanted to love this brace. But I do have some issues with it. Mainly, I have a very hard time to place the straps on the side at the right place all the time. It provides excellent support when the straps are at the right place, maybe my leg is shorter than most people. The elastic straps both side are like extra muscles to stabilize.the foot and ankle! The bottom of the brace is soft and flexible while the heel is cradled by semi flexible plastic material securing the heel. Once the side straps are placed in correct position which I have a lot of trouble with. Another issue I have is the bottom of the brace is very flexible, so the strong elastic on the side can twist especially the front half of the brace and sometimes twisting the foot depending on how tight the elastic straps are positioned and make me scare to use it! However it does provides great range of motion and correct gate movements but that also requires the right position of the side straps. I found that if I can remove and put it it on without moving the side straps then it is Greg. It is a good brace. But unfortunately I need assistance to put it on and off. I need to stop that person to move the two side straps. So it’s difficult for me perhaps not others. My therapist likes it also because it supports my ankle while allowing normal range motion. So this brace is good if you have the patience to adjust all the straps that keep this brace in place. I also wish it has some kind of arch support. It’s too pricy comparing to other braces that can provide the same function. Also uncertain how long the elastic side straps can last since they stretch with every step you take.
