I have a 1982 ExGo gas powered golf cart that broke the shift-cable. New/replacement parts are almost impossible to find for that and when you can find a cable it is over $200. I bought this cable hoping I could adapt it somehow. As luck would have it it was almost a perfect match. The only change needed was to unscrew the ball/socket connection end from the selector side of the cable and install the original on the new cable. The threads matched perfectly. Works great!
