This easily mounted on my can am defender, it is universal. Very impressed with how well it holds, despite the rough terrain that I drive on daily.

I got this for my racecar to move the fire extinguiser to the roll bar for easier access in case of fire. Works as intended and described. Simple yet effective

I gave it three stars because the pull button is hard to pull out. It’s a safety thing, access to the fire extinguisher should not be hindered by the manufacturer of the bracket. A child could not remove the pin in an emergency.

Attached the base with riv-nuts to the roll bar and the extinguisher with the supplied hose clamps. Have been driving the UTV for a few weekends with no issue.

This is a pretty great addition for the Bronco and works well to keep the fire extinguisher out of the way, yet accessible. The install was difficult though and would be much easier without the top on the Bronco. The metal clips that hold it on can easily scratch the paint so I used some padded tape to protect the paint on the pillars. I think a zip tie system or plastic straps would be a good alternative provided you could cinch them down tight enough.

I have used this mount to attach a fire extinguisher in the galley of an overland trailer. Because the trailer sees a lot of bouncy trail use, with constant side-to-side and up-and-down forces, I wanted something more robust than the simple over-center latching strap which came with the extinguisher. So far, this mount has proven very secure. My only quibble is that the release pin really isn't very "quick." It takes a fair amount of force to dislodge this pin and free the extinguisher. But this is a relatively inexpensive all-ABS-plastic mount. A sprung-plunger-style locating pin in a billet aluminum bracket might have yielded smoother operation, but perhaps at much higher cost. Overall, I am happy with this order.

Got this to put on the roll bar of my JKU. It fits like it should against the roll bar and I am able to access it. The one issue I do have is the quick release, isn't really easy to release. Trying to pull the pin out to remove the fire extinguisher bracket is pretty difficult. If I don't get it pulled out just right, it is pretty hard to remove the pin. Overall I like the concept and hope that if I have a true emergency, I don't end up fumbling with it more than with my previous velcro type extinguisher holder. I don't feel like I will be able to utilize this as I am worried it will actually add time in a situation that would require quickness if there is a fire.
