This is a genuine OEM pump with same exact part number as the original pump on my boat. I always go oem! Nice to get it in two days with prime! I Replaced the original 2014 pump that gave out and sprang a leak in the pulley shaft and was spraying water all over the engine. My first time replacing a Bravo drive engine mounted sea water pump. Trick I discovered after spending 4 hours fighting one bolt that sits under the engine when pump is installed, is to simply take out the front bolt and nut that holds the pump mounting bracket in place. Then the whole mounting bracket and pump will just fall off and you can then disassemble the pump easily! With this knowledge, install was very straightforward! Also another pro tip, spray some dishwasher soap water mixture in the two pipes when mounting them back on the pump! They slide right on. And when you take nut and bolt to loosen the pump bracket, the belt pulley right above the pump pulley also comes off. It’s held by the same nut and bolt. Just an FYI.There’s lots of videos on how to install the included impeller. For the oem price, I do wish the impeller came pre-installed already! But again, some dishwasher soap water mixture and the impeller slides into the housing fairly easily!Taking the sea water pump off requires taking off the engine belt. For me, I also took off the alternator, and the Gen3 fuel pump module. I left the fuel lines on the pump module but disconnected the two water pipes and the power line. There’s enough slack in the fuel lines to move the module to the side and get a lot more working room to get to the pump! Will see how long it holds up! These pump are expected to give up over time as the seals weaken with use! I just replaced the original pump from 2014 on my boat but boat o Lu has 105hours. So hoping this oem pump also lasts at least twice that long!

This is the Best Quality and the shipping was extremely fast. If only it was that easy to replace on the boat... Mercruiser list price was 410 before tax and shipping.
