Just recieved this today. I don't know what's going on, but this does not look right. I had to contact a friend who is a mechanic to verify that this isn't normal. I really thought about putting it on, but based on the quality of their workmanship, I decided, I better not not worth an accident over it. Going to return it.

Not that you have to spend top dollar for a set of rear brakes. These are very good brake shoes. Buy with confidence.

Needed new brake shoes for my dad's 86 Toyota pickup. This kit came with everything needed. Fits pretty close to OEM shoes. So far they have performed as expected.

Poor quality control and no clips. 1 pin on shoe damaged not sitting flush had to remove from old brakes

Beware of Federal Mogul/Wagner brake division warranty policy. They only warranty through point of purchase. They will not send you any parts even with proof of purchase.Got the left side on no problem.Went to do the right side, and the parking brake lever anchor stud was too short. The studs come preinstalled on the trailing/ secondary big shoes. I tried to drive the stud in further with a punch and baby sledge, and it would not move. Either the metal shoe casting was too thick, or the stud too short. No way to install the C-washer to hold down the parking brake lever. If Wagner/Federal Mogul would send me the right stud, I could fix it easily, but they won't.Some important notes if you do buy these shoes.1. These shoes did not come with any C-washers. The C-washers can not be re-used. Brake hardware kits have C-washers, or you can buy just the C-washers. You will need two for the parking brake levers.2. Don't lose or damage the E-clip that secures the adjusting lever. It's easy to remove and install them.. Hardware kits do not have E-clips. Toyota says E-clips are not to be reused, but as long as they are in good shape I see no problem with it.3. The shoes are rated EE. If you buy Toyota shoes(505 equivalent), they are rated EE too. Some of the aftermarket shoes are rated FF.4. The linings on these shoes are 3/16 inch thick.
