This race track set is a huge hit! The flexible tracks allow endless configurations, keeping my little one engaged and excited. The widened tracks help keep the cars running smoothly, and the construction vehicles add an extra layer of fun. This is the kind of toy I'd go crazy with as a kid. It feeds the imagination. I love that the product video shows a continuous running loop of track with the car in the center. It's inventive. That's exactly the kind of way kids should be thinking about this toy. You get a long track that can be broken down into 190 discrete pieces. They snap together. And that allows for tremendous flexibility in building ideas. The track is super slinky.When I first opened the box, I'll admit, I thought "cheap." It's lighter plastic. But then I got to thinking. It's actually about on par with a hot wheels track. Don't tell Mattel I said that.The car is powered by a single AA size battery. It's a no frills motor with a fixed gear. It has nothing but an on off switch. And it runs a bit too fast in my opinion. They could have made this a much more interesting toy by having different gearing and possibly doing some clever things with contact switches along the track that turn the motor on and off. Missed opportunity.But otherwise, it's a solid toy.

This is the best toy or gift for any child that loves cars! You can use your imagination to easily put it together. My boys love using this truck with or without the track!

These seem good at the first, but I'm not sure how long they'll last. My son is having a blast with them but they seem a little thin and cheap so I'm worried about them breaking. The tracks seem easy enough to put together and I love all the extra pieces that come with to play pretend and make it more fun. The pull-back to go function is great and the cars/trucks drive well!
