I purchased a full set of these Rancho RS9000XL Shock Absorber for the front and also rears of my truck approximately 22,000 miles ago on July 30, 2021 for my 2018 F450. With nothing but highway use inner twined with some towing. The two front shocks were all but completely destroyed and worthless. The red dust covers that is designed to keep the shock absorber shaft clean did nothing more than hold approximately a 3/4 of a cup of water causing rust and premature failure to both fronts. I suppose some people want to see that bright red color just behind the wheels as if that's impressive. I ended up today replace them all with Monroe Magnums. These new Monroe Magnums completely change the way my truck rides and handles and should produce significantly less premature Tire ware. Also the shocks have an adjustment knob which didn't actually completely freeze up until the truck went through the first winter. I should've gone with Monroe the first time.

Oil in box though they were bad but turned out to be fine. Great ride for my Avalanche 2500 w/6 in lift.
