I put these all the way around my Ford Excursion. I totally like the fact that I can adjust them with no tools. They ride good.

I put the first set of these on my 2003 Ford Excursion (4x4, V10) back in 2014, both front and rear. The front shocks adjustment valves seized within a couple years in our northern climate likely due to road salt and within four years and 39k miles they needed changed out. The rears made it five years and 47k miles and the valves froze just like the fronts. I did a warranty claim on the rears with Rancho and was given new shocks through Amazon.Since replacements, it's about four and a half years and 35k miles on the fronts and they're shot. The firmness adjustment is maxed out and they still bounce, time for a change. The rears have around about three years and 27k miles on them, they seem fine. All of the adjustment valves still work so it seems Rancho fixed that problem. I'm getting new, expensive tires so I'm going to change all of them out for a different brand, Skyjacker Black Max. People seem to like the Black Max on Excursions and they run about $30 cheaper per shock. In all, shocks should last for more miles than these Ranchos, especially for the price premium they charge. The ride is decent once you dial it in, but can be harsh on the higher settings.

The mounting instructions weren't very clear, and no matter what setting I had these on, they were very bouncy on my 2005 Ford Excursion. The overall appearance looked nice, but after one hard bounce on a speed bump, my front right shock popped and leaked all the fluid into my driveway. I ended up replacing my leaf springs and putting in Bilstein 5100 shocks for 4" lift.

I have all four on an Excursion. Its nice to dial in stiff settings when towing, then loosen it up for passenger duty. I do recommend taking the adjusters off and greasing them before using. I have read it keeps them from getting stuck. The rear lower shock body is a bit too large for the shock brackets on the excursion and required a little bit of love from a grinder to clearance them. It probably would have self clearanced, but I dont want any noises. Hoping they last a while.

Removed off my 2004 Excursion. Even with the capability of changing the ride, it was still too rough.
