Definitely an upgrade from factory. Performance is great, fits perfectly, and ride is good

Use these shocks for about three years on my F250 which is used only intermittently throughout the year (less then 5k-8k a year). One shock broke a seal and leaked. Called Rancho for warranty coverage. They said to go to the place of purchase. Amazon states you must go to the manufacture to receive warranty work. All I have received from Rancho is the runaround! for the price I paid for the shocks, minimal miles used and being ignored over the warranty is totally ridiculous! I would not recommend buying these shocks. you’re better off with Bilstein. I have used Bilstein 5100 on a 4x4 for year without issues.

I like the fact that they are adjustable. Mine went on a Ford dually. Being able to adjust from easy riding to 4 wheeling to hauling heavy was the reasoning behind the purchase. I will use that option.1 minor issue that made me deduct one point. Detents are notched at the adjustment knob but nothing to indicate the difference between position 1 and position 9. Come to find out I was in setting 9. If this is Rancho's signature shock, I think they could of put a tad bit more effort into it.All in all, IF you will use the adjustment for your various riding situations, these shocks are for you. They'll give you a great ride.

Purchased 2 of these for the rear of my 2015 F250 4X4 and 2 RS999042 for the front of my vehicle. All 4 shocks were defective. Rancho's support technician said that these shocks all appeared to be 'distressed' inventory that someone sold to Amazon or that Amazon knowingly purchased. Cannot drive my vehicle because the shocks clatter and bang around as I drive. They do not fit properly; too loose and too much slack. Bushings are wrong for my vehicle. Forget Rancho "Warranty" support. All foreigners who don't care that you are stranded. Two weeks and I still can't drive my vehicle. Even though pictures displayed are for the rear, the same issue occurred with my front and rear shocks.

Great replacement for my factory Rancho shock. I have a 2011 F250 with the FX4 package. My truck had 124000 miles on it when I put the new shocks on. Wow what a difference, I regret not replacing these sooner. I tow a 9k pound travel trailer and it has made more truck much more stable. It bounces so much less my wife even noticed from the passenger seat. The adjustability is worth the cost, I run on setting 4 unloaded and turn them all the way up for heavy loads for increased stability.

I installed a full set of RS9000XL shocks and a RS5000 steering stabilizer on my 2005 F250 SD and what a difference! The ride is amazing, no more clacking my teeth together over potholes and the steering is firm and there is no more wandering or steering give. Simple to install with a few wrenches and sockets. Two of us had it done in about 3 hours. The instructions leave a bit to be desired, but there are all kinds of videos on the internet. I like the adjustment factor on the shocks allowing you to choose your ride preference or how it allows you to increase or decrease the stiffness based on your load conditions. They look good too!

I read the reviews, I was a little skeptical at first, but thought I would give them a try.... they are easy to install, and the ability to dial the ride in is awesome. I put these on a Ford F350 that carries a plow. they work great!!!

Arrived 4 days early on the "free shipping". Installed these on my 2011 F250 FX4. After a shot of WD-40 and an 18mm deep socket wrench, Took less than an hour to replace both shocks. I didnt remove the spare or either back tire and it was still super easy.As far as the ride, well i dialed them to "3" and its smoother than any car ive ever been in!Super impressed and will be getting the front shocks and steering stabalizer when the need arises.Only a couple hundred miles but so far, well worth every penny.
