Love these maps and they are easy to read and keep nice being coated. The maps are updated and fold easily and portable to take along on all of your trips.

I would definitely recommend a map for a road trip. We live in a day and age where phone gps is the norm but it's always good to have a back up. A few times coming to ND the GPS went a little crazy but I'm glad I had this map as a back up. It's not detailed like the other road maps but it has just enough to help along.

We'll be taking this on trip to Mr. Rushmore and Black Hills area. Not the perfect map but a great one for its ease of use when traveling. We'll also use more detailed maps on the trip.

Store in a glove compartment or door pouch easily. Waterproof. Have much longer lifespan than paper maps, only. Plenty of detail for travel.

I made the mistake of not reading the description very well. This map is much smaller than your standard paper maps. Granted it's easier to fold and should be durable but it's missing the details of the standard paper maps.
