Have been using the grippers for a month or so, they work as expected. Even with heavy stripers. Took this scale out with me for the first time today and after putting the battery in it and checking it out for a minute I realized how cheap it’s construction was. Worked great... for one fish. Then it stopped working. Don’t waste your money on this. I wouldn’t buy the scale again even if I saw it at the dollar tree.

This product has lasted me three years and I have never had an issue with it. The scale is very easy to use and very durable. I have fully submerged mine in my Livewell and have dropped it many times. The fish grips are made out of durable plastic but they tend to loosen up after a good amount of use. I highly recommend this for fishermen who are getting into the sport and want to weigh their catch!
