Ordered two of these. One worked, while the other would release itself under only a few hundred pounds of load. Very dangerous!I returned the seemingly defective one, and the replacement that came behaved in a similar manner on the third try (same day, while shakedown testing). I have a genuine concern for the mortality of folks using these in more critical situations such as binding loads of heavy materials.I think with some thoughful revisions this product could have some promise, but the clearance / biting depth of the locking teeth into the rod threading is not nearly enough–and really could cause some serious or fatal injury in the event of failure!I come from a trucking family, and needed to secure a truck bed camper to my one-ton pickup's chassis tie downs. RV stuff is just like marine: 3x the honest materials price because of the RV / marine title. These looked perfect for the precise adjustability I needed as an alternative to the overpriced tie-down options in the RV space. But as I said, they just give out at the slightest load! The locking teeth just grind right over the threads, and the threaded piston comes out. So glad I wasn't traveling down the road with these abominations in place. I'd be dragging chain and sending the threaded rods flying someone's way.Using ratchet load binders now with folding handles. Why mess with a trusted convention?

I bought a couple Rapid Binder by Battle Armor Designs with high hopes. I should have put them into service immediately as I am passed the return window before I used them. They failed in less than a month of use. They tighten partially and then act as though they are stripped out I guess less than I 20 loads before having problems I haul a skid steer on a daily basis and had high hopes for a better binding system but this is not it

Skeptical at first, but would love to replace my binders. I haul small equipment and used two rapid binders to secure a mini ex recently that we had to frequently load/unload at different sites. Found them to be much more forgiving than a boomer and quicker than a ratchet binder. Only learning curve included installing the retaining clip before you tighten them up. Otherwise they would extend while twisting which was a frustration. Overall very impressed. Might be the next best thing.

Sorry I wasted my money on this. The idea of it is great but it just doesn’t function like I hoped it would. It would not get tight enough and would slip very easily, would not recommend

Very easy to use and the loads have never moved an inch. Being a woman it has made me feel more secure about loading equipment by myself when my husband is not home. Not having the strength fight with the regular chain binders, this has made my life better. Definitely recommend
