My daughter and I are huge Savannah Banana baseball fans. She kept saying she wanted a banana hat like the Party Animal’s mascot, Pharty, has. This was the closest thing I could find on short notice, but it went over SO well with both teams, the stadium volunteers, other fans, and yes—even Pharty himself!! He walked by her at one point during the game, stopped, turned, and pointed at her “hat” (it’s really on a headband, but it’s very comfortable, and I hate headbands, so for me to say that, you know it’s comfortable!!), then pointed at his hat, and then back and forth between the two of them…he took off his hat and gave it to her and took hers and tried to fit it on his big mascot head! LOL! Needless to say, this will not fit a giant monkey mascot, but we got some great interaction and photo memories because of it!Notes: the headband is satin. If you have fine/thin/or straight hair that make headbands tend to slide off your head, apply a line of clear silicone (available in most any hardware section of any retail store for just a few bucks) to the inside of the headband (that will be touching your hair) and let it dry. If you can do it in a wavelike line, that’s even better. The silicone is enough to keep it from sliding but won’t stick to your hair or damage it! 😉 Also, do NOT cut the plastic things on the peel—that’s what holds it up out of your face, and they aren’t that visible to others when it’s on your head. My daughter almost cut them off and I had to say, “No!! Don’t flatten the banana!” 🤣
