Attempted to install these on a 1969 car but rolling the drum forward, the shoes would lock up. Rolling in reverse it would spin freely. Turns out the primary shoes are not centered properly causing this issue. Could not use. Not sure how they would work on newer models.

I purchased these brake shoes for the front of a 1966 Chrysler 300. According to the Raybestos website, these brake shoes are 11 inches in diameter and 3 inches wide. The shoes I received were only 2 1/2 inches wide. My Chrysler requires the 3 inch wide shoes, so I had to return them. Some 1966 Chrysler models do require a 2 1/2 inch wide brake shoe but the 336 PG Raybestos part number is incorrect for the 2 1/2 inch shoes. The shoes that I received were in a package marked Raybestos with the 336 PG part number. First, I contacted Raybestos to verify that the information on their website was correct. They insist that the 336 PG part number brake pads are 3 inches wide. I would suggest buying brake pads elsewhere until Amazon sorts out there supply problem.
