I got this to see if I'd be interested in RC planes as a new hobby. It's an inexpensive way to try it out. In terms of parts included, I received 6 total propellers and 2 propeller tools vs. 8 and 1. Probably prefer the extra propellers, but no big deal. Assembly of the plane was easy except for the front wheel. Wheels are pretty fragile (basically like mounting on a thin paper clip) and one broke while trying to insert it in the plane. I'd recommend using needle nose pliers to put the wheels on. Charging the batteries and pairing with the controller was a snap. Instruction manual is ok - lots of odd translations from Chinese to English. A few things are not addressed at all - 2 "fine tuning" buttons on the controller for left/right flight and a "high and low speed" button. I haven't fiddled with the former and the latter didn't seem to do anything. I was able to get flying using the "hand throw" method, but couldn't ever get the plan to roll/launch off the ground. No big deal. Throwing is easier. In terms of flying it, I was expecting that the controls would be 1) throttle and 2) 4-way direction (up/down and left/right). This plane is only throttle and left/right. To go up you give more throttle, to go down you let up. For this reason, it seems hard to establish a level flight - you do a lot of "porpoising". Still, you do get to figure out how you need to fly into and with the wind and give more throttle when turning. I got 15-20 minutes of flying out of the battery (nice to have 2). The plane is very light and a little bit of wind makes a huge impact. Best to fly this on a calm day. Probably not good at all at/near the beach or other windy areas. Plane seem pretty durable when you have the inevitable crashes (I was flying on a grass field).
