When I first purchased these, I planned on running only weighted outers, with the stock axle housings. They fit exactly as they should with no issues. The extra weight helped me get the most suspension flex possible, ultimately giving me about an extra 1/2" of flex. Where I ran into problems was when I purchased the brass rear inner portal hubs.I'm sure not all are the same, so not everyone will have issues, but the inner portals were drilled and tapped for a 2.5mm thread, rather than the 2mm thread that comes stock. That meant I had to drill out all 6 through holes to make the larger screw threads fit. I also had to open up the 4 countersunk holes, because the larger thread screws, also had larger heads, and these needed to be clearanced for that as well. Over-all I was extremely happy with these. Just be aware if you're doing axle housing upgrades also, that you may need to modify these... quite a bit

Definitely worth the price good value for your money. Came with all the necessary screws and fit perfectly. Be sure to have some grease on hand when swapping parts. They added much needed weight for better stability for my redcat gen 8 scout 2

The Gen8 works really well right out of the box, but these are really effective at taking the performance to the next level. I shopped around, and you can spend an awful lot more than these cost for other weights that can't be any more effective than these. They were simple to install, but there were no instructions of any kind, which may be a turn-off to some. After installing, the improvement in traction was noticeable right away. The vehicle just stayed on the surface of whatever I tried to drive over in a seemingly gravity-defying manner. This Gen8 works so well now, I'm a lot less impressed by all the youtube RC videos of rock crawling than I used to be... I fully recommend these
