The 6 threaded holes are 2.5 mm when they are supposed to be 2.0 mm! Not compatible with other parts! This causes a lot of grief. Now you have to hunt down some oversized screws - also you have to bore out the outer portal screw holes in order to accept the larger screws. What a pain! Extra time, extra screws, extra drill bits. Even experts would find this very annoying!! Not happy

Needs holes drilled larger and threaded with modifications I assume it will work but does not bolt on. I have the outter from the same brand and they work great.(redact gen8 v2)

I purchased these for my Redcat Gen8 V2, to compliment weighted aluminum axle housings, and brass outer portals. These worked just fine as far as dimensional fitment was concerned. The issue is, the mounting holes for the outer portal hubs are drilled and tapped for a 2.5mm screw thread, and the stock screws are 2mm. Expect to have to run to the hardware store, and grab some 2.5mm thread x 12mm long machine screws. You will also need to open up the 6 through holes on the outer portal hubs, or the screws won't fit through the holes. If you have weighted outer portals like I do, you'll also need to open up the 4 countersunk holes for the screw heads to fit properly. It makes what should be a 20 minute install, take a couple hours.

They fit the truck but they require larger screws to hold the outer portal cover on and they do not come with them. Had to search all over to find the right screws then had to modify my outer covers to fit the larger screws these require
