Bought these for an Optimus Mach 3 set, but they were not quite the right size. They did work fine with albeit a smaller footprint to glue/overlap. Since there was plenty of (great) glue I could ensure it was rigid, but would have preferred an exact fit. Quality, instructions, etc were all fine. If you are attempting this, I'll assume you know all the detail work involved. This kit had what you need for the right speaker. Not quite done with "break-in" for the final sound, but job done and nice firm cone and suspension.

It was a bit harder and took longer to install than I thought it would but it's probably just because I was being extremely careful about the placement. It took much longer to remove the old foam as well. It did not scrape off like it did in the video since mine didn't seem to be dry and falling apart like theirs but rather mine was mushy and very sticky like glue that wasn't quite dry. It was very hard to get off. But overall it did work and my speakers perform and sound great again. It is a good quality repair foam and worth it if you have an expensive speaker that needs repair.

Great repair kit! A fairly simple process to complete although the more experience you have probably makes it easier. The connecting points of replacement surround foam and the original were slightly different but it was of no real consequence. I was happy to find a kit to bring such an old speaker back to life. Works great now. Thanks!
