I think the first one I received was a lemon. The solar part didn't seem to want to charge at all. I returned it and got another one. Now I love this light. I love that it can charge on a hook outside. I love that the charge for this is free because it's solar. I love that it is very versatile in hanging or positioning. And I love that the light options are variable from the color of light to the location where the light comes out.

It is well made, and well packaged. The overall packaged is compact and a bit heavy and the light itself is really bright, definitely more than enough for most applications. In addition to main light, this lantern can also be used as flashlight, tho the form factor is not great, but usable. Overall, excellent. A+

I picked up this rechargeable camping lantern ahead of a camping trip, and it ended up saving the day (or rather, the night) when the rest of the group forgot their lights. It’s compact but impressively powerful—at full brightness it easily lit up our entire site, and the dimming function was great when we wanted softer lighting around the tent. The 10000mAh battery is a huge plus, not just for lasting the whole trip without recharging, but also for being able to juice up a phone in a pinch.The multiple light modes are a nice touch too—everything from cold and warm lighting to red and flashing safety lights, plus a solid flashlight function. The rotatable hook and magnetic mount were super convenient for positioning it wherever we needed—on a branch, tent pole, or even stuck to the side of a truck. I must say that this little light does not take up much space no matter what you use it for. I use it for emergencies to have it put up when I need it the most, I don't camp or hike but I could easily see it being a great addition for anyone needing it for that purpose. It has a stand as well as is solar rechargeable, so a plus for sure in any situation where there is no power. Having it sit in the sun, giving it the power you need, is just a really cool option. It can also be a flashlight as well as a stand it has to use to sit in one place freeing my hands for other things I need to do as we had a power outage and I was trying it out. I must say I would recommend it as I don't have any complaints to bring up on it.
