This seems to be better than the suction cup style, which kept falling off the window. So far it has stayed up on the windshield and not come loose.

The suction cup product kept falling down, so I switched to this one and it works great It haven’t fell any I would definitely buy it again.

Got this dashcam with $20 off coupon and it’s been outstanding so far. Bought the 3M mount and hardwire kit to go along with it. Had it professionally mounted in my 2017 Ram 1500. Looks great and operates flawlessly. Easy to use menus and app. I have a Blackvue in my BMW and I have to say I think this cam is better, especially for the price.

I bought this for my girlfriends car. The F7NP comes with a suction mount which is quite large. However, this 3M mount replaces that and is much smaller. It takes up less real estate on the windshield so her field of vision isn't affected as much.The camera mounts easily and the 3M tape sticks well. Make sure you follow the instructions for mounting and cleaning the glass, and you'll get good adhesion. Also make sure you know where you want to place this before sticking it to the glass. Once you stick it on firmly, I don't think you want to try and move it.It's been several weeks so far, and everything is staying put quite well. She uses the suction cup mount for her work vehicle, and this mount for her personal vehicle.Great addition for a great camera.

The stupid suction mount doesn't work as soon as the temp outside spikes. You need to order this anyway to keep the camera on ypur windshield. I guess if you planned on taking the camera down everytime you get out of the vehicle it might be easier to have a suction cup rather than sliding it off the mount but.... it really should be part of the original package and mounting clip.

Gps Modul funktioniert super und das wichtigste sehr klein und kompakt verspert nicht die Sicht an der Frontscheibe DAS GPS Saugnapfmodul (im Lieferumfang dabei ) ist da um vielfaches größer und stört im Blickfeld der Frontscheibe
