These were purchased for a restoration project I'm doing on a 1995 Honda CR250R and were a direct replacement for the older bars which were on the bike when I bought it in 2001.

Hard to beat Renthal for strength. It was years and many bad get-offs before my first set finally tweaked. Their 'laser etched positioning grid' isn't too useful when a one piece top clamp is used. That grid OUTside the clamps would be good, but it's not a big deal. I don't know of a choice in bars other than Renthal. They are the best.
