Having inadvertently burnt out the original heating element on my RV (drained the HW tank with the element still switched on) his replacement came available at just the right time. It was easy to install, taking only a few minutes using the provided socket wrench, a little PTFE tape to seal the joint and then reconnecting the power wires.Once installed, and the power reinstated, I found he element heated the water tank in a relatively good time and with the thermostat operating, let the hot water at a consistent temperature until used.Now that I have replaced th original element with this, my intention is to purchase a second and have it readily available as a spare, just in case.
