I must say it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I put it on, I felt comfortable and well-protected. The design is sleek and fits perfectly, offering ample coverage without feeling bulky. During use, I didn't experience any discomfort or irritation, which can be common with some guards. Overall, I have nothing to complain about with this product. It delivers exactly what it promises: reliable protection and comfort. Highly recommended!

I was expecting good things from a big name in the industry. I was mistaken. While the shin guards are comfortable, they ripped at a seam the very first use. It was a very short tryout too, 5 kicks, just to get an idea of the shin protection... which was ok for slower kicks I might add.If you're looking for something for sparring, I'd advising looking elsewhere. I just wasn't impressed, to be honest.

I ordered these shin protectors for Muay Thai practice. Mostly bag work at home. I already had some shin guards provided by the Martial Arts academy where I train, but I needed some for home training too. Compared to the shin guards provided by the academy, the Rev Gear have thicker padding and are bigger, providing more coverage. They are both xl, but the rev gear goes a bit higher up the shin. The fabric is also thicker and feels like it will last a long time. The thicker padding is nice, I can kick the bag with all my strength without concern. However they are a tiny bit heavier. Not by much. Any extra weight would help w training anyway so I don't mind. Overall, I like these pads a lot and would recommend.

These are SOLID Muay Thai shin and foot guards with a dense EVA foam type material rounded over the top of the foot and around the shins. The sizing seemed to be pretty accurate for me, I figured around a Medium and that panned out great. They REALLY let you let loose on that heavy bag. It was nice to FULLY through your torque in there without any need to worry. This also actually helps the bone density increase, which in turn develops the kick further. They’re pretty comfortable for what they are, but don’t be expecting a spa treatment. Mine are pretty good with no slipping tool, but we’ll see how the elastic holds up down the road. Looks well constructed, solidly built, and really does provide TREMENDOUS extra protection.

I recently picked up the Revgear Cloth Shin and Instep Guards, and I'm pretty impressed with what they bring to the table. Knowing Revgear's rep for quality, I had high hopes, and these guards didn't disappoint.First off, the construction is solid. The stitching looks neat, and the material feels durable – it gives you confidence that these guards can handle some serious training. The fit is snug, and they stay put on your legs, avoiding annoying shifts during training. Comfortable and secure, just how you want them. The padding does a great job soaking up hits, offering reliable protection for the shins and instep. May not offer as much padding as the strap on Muay Thai guards, but just are just the right weight to toughen shins, but avoid injury. (I think that they have more padding than most cloth guards I have seen, but perhaps not as much as the strap on Muay Thai Guards). One cool thing is they're machine washable. It might seem small, but it's a practical touch for keeping your gear fresh and cleanyou're a beginner, it's probably a good idea to check in with your instructor to make sure these guards match up with what you're doing in training. I've use cloth shin guards for full-contact Karate, but kickboxers and MMA folks usually lean towards the strap-on guards. If your sport uses cloth shin guards, these Revgear ones are a solid choice. They bring quality, a secure fit, and reliable padding to the table, making them a go-to option for anyone serious about their combat sports gear.Usu!

I got these for my son for baseball. The socks the team wears is not enough to protect his shins from the absorbent clay dirt the city uses that has tiny rocks in it. It is unreal that they would use something like this knowing kids get hurt. The ball hits one of these and sends the ball in a different direction. The kids slide and they get cuts on their legs. So, I decided to get something that can fit on his leg and hide under his pants. That way when he slides, he has the sock and now this padding. The shin guard is very soft and very lite weight. It is made out of a durable fabric that will last for a long time. The color is nice and will go with any team colors. It has a long shin padding and padding for the top of your foot. If you are wearing these with shoes, you have the option to cut the pad off or your can just untighten your kids show and they should fit nicely. The padding down there is not overly thick. This says it will help with things like MMA. But I would recommend something a bit more thick. I think for MMA, it would be smart to have padding like this, but also have a plastic guard on top as plastic can absorb impact as well. It is one thing for a soccer ball and someone kicking your shin that is not trained to hurt you. These do not come in different colors. I think they should. Especially if your trying to match your team color. They slip on and off. Can throw them right in your wash. They come in several different sizes. On the companies Amazon page, they give you a size chart in the pictures. Make sure you measure the shin before ordering.
