I've been a ballroom dancer for many years now. I normally buy my shoes from specialty shops and they are pricey, but hold up well for every day use. But sometimes I go out dancing at venues with questionable floors, so I like to have less expensive shoes to take with me to use so if they get ruined or the suede soles get too wet, I've not destroyed an expensive pair of shoes.These are perfect for that use. They look very nice and I love the bling. The quality isn't good enough to wear for a competition, but for going out to a random bar hosting a dance event, they are just what I want.I find that they feel more secure wrapped around my ankle than wrapped around the bottom, but that's a personal choice and they will work great for either style. They have the buckle hooks that make them easier to put on and take off once you set the strap length, which is my preferred closure for dance shoes.

I used to do ballet so I got these shoes because I really want to learn salsa and ballroom. I think they will be great for dancing. They have a soft suede bottom that work great on my hardwood floors. I can do turns securely - there's enough friction to prevent slipping, but not too much grip. I was able to move around smoothly. The insole is cushioned to relieve pressure from your feet. I also love that the strap comes under the arch so the shoe fits snug to your foot to support the arch.Style - very beautiful and elegant. These would look great with a gown or a nice cocktail dress.Fit: True to size. I normally wear a 9 1/2 but they only had 10 available. However while it is a tiny bit long for me, the width was perfect and very comfortable.Flexibility - very flexible which is needed to execute dance moves! These shoes are meant for dancing and not to be worn in the street. If you want to wear them for a wedding or event, change into these shoes after you arrive!Durability - I have only worn these a few times and so far they are holding up very well. They are well made and I anticipate having them for awhile. I have to reiterate - these are dance shoes specifically made for dancing indoors on smooth floors. They are not meant to be worn outside in everyday conditions. They do not have hard bottoms for walking in the street or on gravel........ If you limit your wear to indoors, they are likely to last.

These shores were attractive and the heel was a good moderate size, but they were too narrow for my daughter. I thought the suede bottom was weird, but I guess that makes sense for ballroom dancing as you need that slickness. They are definitely not for outside use because of that.Other than the narrow width, the other issue we had with these were that the back heel area is definitely for people with narrow and tall heels that can deal with potential rubbing.

I needed some fancy shoes for an event, and I liked the look of these. Bonus points that you can choose your heel size. The 3" heels have a narrower rise than the lower heels, but still feel solid under foot. These shoes don't have a regular outdoor shoe sole because they're made for dancing, and they served me great for that purpose. The cushion under the ball of the foot feels like a dense memory foam-type base, but is not very think (although, thicker than you'll find in most high heel shoes!) and if you're wearing them outside you will feel rough or uneven surfaces. They suede did hold up better to walking outdoors than I though it might, though!I am consistently true to a size 7 and these fit me well. Although my feet are on the narrow side of average, the straps over the front of the footbed felt a rather tight, and by the end of the night were hearting my feet. I don't know if they'll stretch a bit with wear. Once you set the length of the ankle straps and figure out the quick-release action I think they are very easy on-off.The rhinestones have a multicolor finish to them, rather than the bright white stones as pictured - In one of the photos you can see some of the colorful sheen but it's more pronounced IRL. That was a benefit to me, but worth knowing if you're aiming for a particular style. They all stayed securely fastened even after some serious walking and dancing, and I like that you receive extra rhinestones in case you need to replace any, along with a zippered travel bag.For the price and the specificity of use, I think these are a win!

Omgoodness the sparkles on these ! They're so beautiful & fun ! These are very thin & flexible , definitely for dancing not for walking . Smooth sole for smooth spinning . They seem to run a bit narrow , but otherwise true to size .
