I'm so happy I got this mic and almost feel like it's too good to use only for discord gaming calls. The audio is very clear and there's no weird static sound like a previous one I had. The easy mute function is very convenient when I don't want to switch back to the app. My favorite part is that it's able to isolate sounds from certain directions which means that it prevents other audio from being heard.

Tried this out for a few weeks. No doubt about it, the audio quality is far superior to my older no name mic I had. The other one did a fine job picking up my voice and was clear but this takes that clear and makes it sound super clean and close to professional levels. I love the quick set up of plug and play. And the knobs are very easy to adjust. Beautiful too. A feature I loved more than I should was the Bluetooth connectivity for the headset. It is very snappy in connecting and has a longer distance than my pc. Nice to be able to adjust volume from a knob or disable on a whim was opposed to going through a whole menu on my PC to disconnect. But, I do have a major complaint and I can't tell if this is a windows problem or this mic. At some point, people complain they can barely hear me. Eventually I realized that the mic volume was lowering (and increasing randomly). I couldnt find anything on Windows that could be causing this and my old mic did not do this. Unable to find the solution that I have had to live with it. This issue makes me wish it had a dedicated app that could have more control along with firmware updates and hopefully prevent this problem. Amazing mic that already goes on good sales but such a bummer about the one problem I have

Great for beginners and advanced users alike, with capabilities to match. I'm not a big fan of the uber-professional mics that are suspended like beer cans in the air; this is a flat instrument that fits anywhere you need it. The stand is heavy, and the mic is well anchored in place with thumb screws. The quality of the mic is great, and I absolutely could recommend it. The documentation is very well written and easy to understand - read it for details on how to configure the best sampling rate for your application.Initial setup could be a little confusing for some people that are unaware of the microphone level control on the mic itself - you have to find the balance between the computer's sound card input level and also adjust the level knob on the mic itself. Once you find the right levels in both places, the mic sounds fantastic.

This mic is just right for my podcasting uses, and cleaned up the sound issues we were having.I'd been using a lavalier lapel mic, a USB non-directional mic, and the internal computer mic. My goal was to put together a nice, inexpensive, highly portable podcast setup, that my friend and I could bring with us just about anywhere to make podcast episodes.I was absolutely unimpressed with the best that a cell phone could deliver, so figured that I had to use a computer and external microphone configuration, and was having difficulty finding something that would deliver the quality and STILL be portable. Then I found this microphone, and it's just about perfect. I love the fact that it's directional, meaning that it minimizes external ambient sounds, to allow your voice to be the loudest input. There are drawbacks, but it was always frustrating to me when watching a podcast, or any broadcast, really, when you really had to struggle to hear the presenter over all the ambient noises! This mic effectively suppresses sounds not coming directly to the mic, without eliminating them entirely. Just what I was looking for!I greatly appreciate, also, the on-mic controls. The main thing that I need is the ability to mute the micriphone entirely from time to time. That's right on the mic itself, so that I don't have to do it at the computer, where I have screens that I use for the podcast. The quality of the recorded sound from this microphone has been excellent so far. I haven't yet brought it out into a windy open space, but it HAS been in a noisy indoor setting, and it performed wonderfully! Just what I was looking for in a microphone! My friend's and my goal is to do the podcast from two separate locations, that look as though we're together, while commenting on the very different things going on around each of us. Hence, I'll be picking up another one for my friend's setup too, because this mic makes that possible.Recommended.
