This Nylon tape will provide the strength needed to repair small cuts without creating a huge mess to undo later if you decide to get the repair done professionally.

I used the tape on my carbon fiber mainsail, which is in its last years. It has held up in 20+ knots (but a new sail is on order.)

For all I know, this works great for its intended purpose. I was trying to fold this over raw edges of a door netting and it refuses to stick to itself. May work fine in a straight line, but I wouldn’t buy again.

If you own a convertible car, buy this and stick in your trunk. Sail repair tape might not seem like something you'd use on a convertible top but if your top get damaged or wears out, you'll be glad you had it. It also looks a lot better than duck tape.

If you've never seen or used this material, like myself before it arrived from Amazon, you'll be very pleased. Lots of uses aside from the product description. It's like super duct tape at half the weight, and quite easy on the eyes.

Amazing product at a great price. Ripped my kite nearly in half. Was able to repair the kite and it looks fantastic. Will update post once I have taken it out for a test flight.

I tried to use it on a grill cover & it came off after a few days in the weather.

In the past, I made temporary emergency repairs on sails with ripstop tape and they held. 20 years ago I used some to repair a down jacket, and that is still there and it works. However, I used this to repair a grill cover that had torn a seam, but it only lasted one day before coming loose. I don't know if the adhesive failed, or if the Arizona heat caused the problem (it is only spring temperature at the time of writing - mid-80's). But, this did not hold. It might work on some indoor application, but failed here
