Works well and wire colors match up. Would have been 5 stars if the plug in connectors would have been the right size. Easily fixed by splicing in original connectors. Also the advertised unit is black but the one that I received is red. It’s not very visible behind the radiator grill, so no big deal. Just odd on a camo and black atv, but not worth the hassle of returning it.

Used on a 1999 Polaris sportsman 500. Bolted on perfect, but noticed right away, the bullet connectors on the red and brown wires were just a bit smaller than original, and wouldn’t stay in connector. Had to remove again, clip off those two bullets, and splice in the originals. After that, worked like a charm. Voltage where it needs to be.Maybe my wheeler wiring is a little different. Who knows

If this was a review of the RMstator it'd be 5 star. Their customer service is amazing. They will offer suggestions, tips, and help trouble shoot problems with any part they sell. That being said, this regulator rectifier is probably built great and over engineered to last forever. But it did not fit the 01 sportsman 500 ho I purchased it for due to the male end of the plug connectors being to small. The OEM wiring harness has a plug that both hot and ground 12v wires ran into. The AC side ( yellow wires) could be solved by crimping the female plug connectors down. But with out cutting out that plug and installing different connectors (voiding warranty) this wouldn't work. So I'm out $12 in shipping to return it. I still love the company and they make great parts.

Shipped fast and easy to put on. Perfect swap to the factor regulator, colors matched up correctly. Plug and play system. I was a little weary of a few others that had the wiring colors in a different order or placement so I went with this one. A little more money but deff worth is so far.
