My 6yr old son is 4'2" and weighs about 50lbs. He wears a small (size 6/7) in most shirts but I sized up to a medium based on another review. I'm glad I did! It fits well without looking too baggy, and I bet I'll get another summer or two out of it. I'd say if your kiddo is at the larger end of the size range than it'd be beneficial to just go up another size. This shirt is perfect for under a jersey, which is what I got it for, but it's good on its own too, especially for at practices or just running around. It's your classic stretchy work out material that you'd expect. Washed and dried well, too! I'll probably order another color if it continues to hold up well, but I'll update if it doesn't.

This compression shirt is a win! My son wears it for soccer and track, and he says it keeps him cool and comfortable during practice. The material is stretchy but snug, offering muscle support without being restrictive. It wicks sweat well and doesn’t cling uncomfortably. It fits true to size and stays in place—no constant tugging or adjusting. The stitching is solid, and it’s survived many washes without losing shape. Great for layering or wearing on its own. Ideal for active kids who need performance gear without the high price tag. Highly recommend!

My 8-year-old grandson really likes this shirt. It fits him perfectly and he likes the wicking effect it has, and he loves the blue color. The fabric is soft with a nice stretch. We are very happy with this well-made shirt. Definitely recommend.

This quick-dry athletic shirt has nice contrast stitching that looks very tailored and gives a sporty look. The color is a pleasing blue. The fit is nice with enough room to grow. I love the cooling material which allows him to be comfortable and cool with all his activities of play. Great value and quality.

Roadbox Boys short sleeve compression shirts are nice quality, very light and quite breathable but run small!My son usually wears a Medium in shirts and I should have ordered a Large so I highly recommend sizing up 1 size if you want your child to be able to wear them all season as I did not size up so these won't be getting much wear since they are already almost to small unfortunately. Value is also on the higher end for the 2pack.
