Turned one of our bedrooms into a karaoke room and bought this setup. We have our music-playing friends over regularly and I own many guitars, electric drums, electric keyboard and amps. The mixer and speakers are probably worth the money after all is said but…After about 6 nights of use the mic cords have started to short out because the wires are visibly pulling out of the male/female ends of the cords. One of our mics was also dropped and the cover popped off (they are very light mics and obviously not built for ANY abuse) and, with no way to put it back on, that mic is now not very useful.I have supplemented the two 15” speakers with a guitar amp to up the sound quality and output (even for a bedroom-sized space I needed sound supplementation!!!). Quality of sound isn’t very full, especially on the low end, but it’s to be expected out of a $500 setup. The mixer is actually the best part of the setup IMO. It has many inputs with volume knobs for each and three 1/4” audio outputs allowing some flexibility of output. A lot can be done with the mixer for what the whole system costs overall.I’m buying new mics with new cords and saving the originals for backups. Any “professional” who says this is a good stand-alone setup for public karaoke at venues isn’t worth their weight in salt as a DJ. But for home use I’d say this setup will work for the casual karaoke singers, especially for $500.

Everything was easy to set up.....except..... I am not what I call technology smart. So I need directions.....and clear labels for audio cables and speaker cables. The microphone was obvious but it took me a while to realize that the back of the speaker, even though there are two holes does not mean I was looking for a cable that had split plugs....so I guess my only real problem was more labeling for people like me that need more direction. The sound is great for my needs I have been using it for indoor but have an outdoor function in the next couple weeks, so I will see then about projection then.

I've been a pro DJ at parties for over 20 years, and thought I'd finally get into Karaoke. The Rockville RPG2x15 rig was the one I chose after watching a lot of youtube reviews, as well as checking reviews here on Amazon. I really like the features of the mixer/amp - with echo effects, treble/bass etc on each of the 8 channels, it's a great sounding system. The mics sound good, have a nice, hefty-quality feel. The dual 15" speakers sound really good too - even at high volume. Glad to have the two tripods ae part of this rig, as they're necessary for crowded venues. Setup is a no-brainer, and customer service folks answered my phone call right away and offered good answers to my initial technical questions. All in all, I'm really looking forward to working with this system for many Karaoke parties at home and at professional gigs. Note: I further enhanced my rig with two wireless microphones, and, for Karaoke music, subscribed to a leading online service. I'm ready to rock with Rockville - and remain highly impressed with the value for the money.

We bought this sound system with karaoke in mind and it works great! It was easy to hook up to our smart TV, easy to adjust and maneuver. Sound quality is good however, the bass isn't as strong as we feel like it could be. Overall a good purchase.

This system offers a lot for the money. Sounds great, mixes well and hooked up to TV easily. Recommend karaoke off YouTube player on an iPad then mirror on the TV which TV then plugs in to the mixer. Excellent for home or I could even see used in commercial setting.

We had Karaoke here at our RV Park using this set-up from Rockville. It was a big success, easy to set up and the sound was great. Got many great comments on the equipment. Would recommend this to everyone, Thanks

I used this outdoors (in our shelter house) at our annual bbq for karaoke. The sound was great! I never pushed it to hard, didn't have to, sound was pretty loud. The microphones seem to be well constructed and worked well. Once you got the reverb, echo and delay dialed in, it really helped the singers sound their best! The only cons I have so far are that the speaker cables are far too short at ten feet. And this particular set up didn't come with mic stands or iPad stand. All in all it worked out great for my needs, and at only the $352 US that I paid for it, I couldn't have hired a pro dj for that. As others have said, if you spend a couple hundred on a decent, powered, sub woofer this thing would really rock!As for durability, and whether this set up could be used for paying gigs, I'll leave those arguments to the pros. But I will say for private use, to do a few house party's a year, I don't think you could go wrong. Of course I've only used it for 7 hours that night, a few hours powering my smaller patio speakers, and messing around plugging in an electric guitar, so only time will tell.Oh, by the way, I saw a review somewhere that said there wasn't a shuffle on this mixer, that is not true, if you keep pressing the loop button you will get to shuffle mode when you have your SD card or USB (thumb drive) plugged in.
