I've owned several of the Rodecaster Pro units. I have used 3 of the RCP I units and now 2 of the RCP II units. The design intent of the RCP II is awesome. They've clearly listened to their customers...especially the gamers and streamers. However, I've had several issues thus far:1. Build Quality: I've returned 2 of the RCP II units because of issues in construction. In one case, the unit wasn't glued together properly and was literally falling apart when I received it. Second case was with a volume knob not working properly. Rode (and the retailer) replaced both units without an issue.2. Operational Difficulty: The good news is that the RCP II will do a lot of stuff with audio...from routing to special effects. The bad news is you better be ready to spend time with the unit learning all the features. I've had my RCP II for over 2 months and am still having to go back to youtube videos to see how stuff works (and I do audio for a living!). It also seems more 'quirky' than the RCP I...meaning I have to do a reboot more often because some aspect or feature just quits working. My recommendation: If you're a streamer/gamer this mixer is made for you. Buy it. Even with the bugs they're working out with firmware updates to come, this this is great. If, however, you just want your RCP for recording guests and bringing on occasional phone calls for a podcast, I'd recommend getting the RCP I. By now, the design and firmware is bullet-proof and it's much easier to operate, especially for people that are not apt to be motivated to learn all the bells and whistles of the RCP II.In closing, hats off to Rode for developing this technology. And kudos for your customer service. Whenever I've had issues, you've been very responsive. For future mixers, my only recommendation would be to increase the build-quality a bit and slow down on getting to market to make sure the bugs are worked out.
