I love this rotating bookcase! I was looking for a space saving rack or shelf of some kind to consolidate all of the video game cases amassed by my four gamer family, and it also had to fit into an awkward corner space next to an Ikea Expedit unit. After looking at many shallow media shelving units that would look weird next to the 15" deep Expedit, some rotating bookcases were recommended to me. I chose this one based on the good reviews, size, and solid pine construction, and I have no regrets. It took about 45 minutes for my son and I to assemble it--it's a VERY sturdy and well designed piece of furniture firmly held together with plenty of screws. The pre-drilled holes and cuts in the wood boards were all in the right locations, and the unfinished wood was sanded smoothly enough to be used as-is if you aren't ready to paint or stain it yet.It holds a decent number of game cases per section (4 sections per level x 5 levels= 20 sections): 13 Switch, 9 PSP/Nintendo DS, 10 Xbox/Xbox360/PS2/Wii/DVD, 11 Xbox One/3DS. If you use it for DVD sized cases, you can fit around 200 of them. Of course, game guides also fit!All necessary hardware was included, including two Allen hex keys that were needed to install the many, many wood screws holding this piece of furniture together. Pay attention to the instruction sheet, and assembly isn't bad at all.Bonus items: a vinyl doily that you can put on top and a felt basket with a lion face design that randomly fits into a 13"x13" cube storage unit.

Overall, a decent product. When filled to capacity, it requires considerable strength to turn - the bearing set used is okay but not really ideal for the task. 1 star off for that. Worse, every horizontal shelf had a bright red sticker glued (and I mean glued) to its upper surface, and the design of the unit does not allow any way to hide them. Be ready for a lot of scraping of gummy crud from the surface. 1 star off for that. On the plus side, the wood is well prepared and sanded smooth. It's ready for stain, varnish, or other finishing once the sticker goo has been dealt with.

This bookshelf is amazing. Very easy to build, also super easy to paint. It took about a pint of paint and now it's perfect. It holds a ridiculous number of books. Only draw back is its hard to rotate once it's full, but that is expected with the amount of weight from the books. Highly recommend!!

It was simple to build, the instructions were super easy. Its holds a lot more books than I thought that it would. Definitely a space saver, it rotates 360° and fits a variety of sizes in books. I have cookbooks that fit fine on the shelf all the way down to smaller books. Definitely would recommend this product.

I love my bookcase. It was easy to assemble and spins easily. It's sturdy for the price and looks amazing in my bedroom. The size is excellent as it holds a lot of books.

This bookshelf is advertised as children 14 and under not being able to push it over — a small child (toddler) could very easily push it over. This bookshelf is extremely unstable and very easily fell over multiple times. Not safe for kid’s room.

I really wanted a bookshelf with a small footprint and this is perfect. It's currently holding about 200 children's books, looks great, hasn't tipped over, and seems like it'll last.
