I took a star off because there needs to be instructions in the box. But I was able to make my son a dog tag (I was not good at it, lol). I did not worry about lining everything up and it was just his name that I put on the tag. He loved it. I wish numbers came with it too, there are only letters, but I assume they will release other packs on down the line…I used the acrylic green marker(good quality, they come with the kit) and filled in the letters. I would take a picture, but he has it now. It wasn’t perfect, but he said that was what he really liked about it, that it not being perfect made it cool! Recommended. You can do a lot with this kit. It is a learning curve for me to work with this, but as far as quality, paint quality, size and functionality, It’s a very good product.

All things in this kit that the description mentioned were in the box except only 56 split rings not 60, but I am ok with that.Box of letter stamps had spilled out and the plastic yellow box was warped.I was not pleased that the 39 stainless steel tags were so tiny that I am luck to stamp on one letter of the alphabet on it.The two chains were 40" (inches) long. The 10 aluminum tags, the normal size ones, I wish the 39 tiny stainless steel ones were this size.I do not know what an iron pad is for as I have never done this before (stamping) so I guess I have to go find out.No kind of instructions nor explanations.

I got this 214-piece jewelry making kit on a whim because I’ve always wanted to try metal stamping and DIY jewelry, and I’m so glad I did! It comes with everything you need to get started—tools, beads, charms, chain findings, jump rings, and a variety of stamping blanks. It’s super beginner-friendly but also has enough variety to keep more experienced crafters engaged. The tools feel sturdy and durable, especially for a kit at this price point. The metal stamping pieces are fun to use, and I’ve already made a few bracelets and keychains that turned out great. I really appreciate the mix of feminine and unisex styles, which makes it easy to create gifts for friends and family. The packaging was neat, and everything was organized nicely in compartments, so you don’t feel overwhelmed when you open the box. This would make an awesome gift for anyone crafty, or even for yourself if you’re just getting into jewelry making.Pros:• Great variety of tools and materials• Sturdy and well-made components• Perfect for beginners and casual crafters• Excellent value for the price• Nicely organized and giftableCons:• Instructions could be a bit more detailed for complete beginners, but there are plenty of tutorials onlineOverall, a fantastic kit that exceeded my expectations.

This is such a cool set. This is new for me and it has everything included that I need to be able to create these items. There are some instructions included, so you can follow along and learn how to use the items. This is a great project for adults who like to craft or for kids who want to learn something new. This is a great value l; it appears to be high quality as well. I’m making that assessment as someone who has never used anything like this before, but I am very pleased with it.

This kit contained everything that the product description said that it should have. (I didn't count each of the items but the appropriate items were included.) That being said this kit wasn't put together so that the items would work well with each other and I don't get the impression that these are quality components. One of the main reasons that I purchased this kit was that I needed a new stamping block. When I opened the kit I was very disappointed to see that the block was so small. It is 1.9" x 1.9". The small size will make it very difficult to manipulate the items that are on the block and make it very easy to hammer a finger rather than the piece being worked on. It also isn't big enough to accommodate some of the jewelry pieces that I was planning to use it with. The small size is very disappointing but I have only myself to blame. I should have checked the dimensions before ordering this set.The kit includes various tags ranging in size from 7mm to about 50mm (about 1 7/8"). The 7mm tag is cute but it is so small that it will be very difficult to hold it in place to stamp anything on it and at best it will let you stamp one letter on it. I understand that the reason that this kit includes tape is to allow you to tape the tags on the block so that they hold still while you stamp them, but this tag is so small that there's no way to tape the sides and let you have any room to stamp a letter. I wouldn't want to stamp anything through the tape. It will be hard enough to get a clean stamp and stamping through tape will result in a blurry stamp. It will be easier to stamp letters on the larger tags since on some there is enough room to tape the sides and have some clear space for stamping and I'm hoping that these will worki. The kit contains other components that can be used for jewelry making such as two chains (one gold, one silver) that are about a yard long, ear wires, jump rings and lobster claw clasps. The lobster claw clasps are tiny. They will be a little hard to work with because of their size and hard to use for the same reason, but their big disadvantage is that they don't close completely. I would hesitate to use them in jewelry making because the jump ring or chain that they are latched onto may slip through the clasp. The kit also contains heavy duty split rings which can be used to make keychains. I think these will be very useful.
