2012年の年末に、いわゆるエコノミー症候群で突然入院しました。ICUに6日間お世話になり、その後一般病棟へ。幸い後遺症もなく、仕事に復帰することができました。あの世に行ってもおかしくなかったとは、多くの医療関係者から説明があり、ただただ連れ合い、息子たち、他、心配してくれた多くの人たちに感謝感謝の一年です。

なんですが、なぜか一番高かった…かなり新しいものですが、相場としてそういうものみたいです。60年代、70年代より高いのはちょっと意外。物自体はとてもよく、満足しています。当人も「私のお皿」と満足気です。

Royal Copenhagen is one of the finest porcelain manufacturers. This plate is a wonderful addition to my collection of Christmas plates which look stunning on kitchen wall all year round. This particular plate is particularly interesting and not cutesy. Highly recommended

I inherited a Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plate collection starting in 1950 and have kept the series going. This is not the sort of item one can comment on in terms of its use or function. It is what it is and if you like and collect them then this is the best you'll find.

I've been buying a Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plate every year since 1982 as a family gift. Today we have 30 displayed on our dining room wall. Christmas morning this will be number 31.The annual plates spark memories of years of holidays, from our first Christmas to last year's Christmas morning with new grandchildren.Each plate is beautifully made and each bears a traditional holiday scene. The plate arrives in a sturdy gift box, the same size every year. And every christmas morning somebody picks the familiar-sized package from under our tree and says "I wonder what's in this one?"

I have been collecting these plates for over 30 years, and I used to order my annual plate from the Royal Copenhagen Co. in Denmark. It took weeks, and I never knew if I would get it…sometimes I didn't. I'm thrilled that I ordered this year's plate from a company that delivers within a week!As always, it's a lovely collectible
