the biggest dislike I have for these is the buckle position, it needs to be down on the outside button. I moved it as low as I could without whittling the tab down and it still needed to go down some but wasn't worthy of the time it would take, eventually I will make another pair. The stamping is o.k. and to me the buckles are passable but a little rough, my wife hates the buckles but I ain't to nit picky at this price point. I will probably end up with another pair in the dark finish. I rarely wear spurs so while these aren't what I would buy if they were daily wear they are adequate for the backyard horseman who occasionally needs to strengthen a cue on a dull horse.

I bought a pair of these for my husband recently and I could see when they arrived they were poor quality leather so I tried to convince him to let me send them back right away but he wanted to try them out and wouldn't you know - the first time he wore them the rivet that holds the buckle on came out and I had to replace it with a new rivet but then the second time he wore them when he was tightening the strap the leather at the end of the strap tore and then couldn't buckle the strap so he drilled a new hole in the leather and got it to all hold together for the ride that day but I am placing an order this morning for a different pair of spur straps for him.So, bottom line it, you get what you pay for with these spur straps and really they aren't even worth the $10.00 plus or minus that you are paying for them. Spend a little more and get a nicer quality spur strap.
