I got tired of burning my hands after use on the Tube of Quiet that I paid the government 200 bucks to own. I didn’t want to be the idiot out there with an oven mitt trying to screw and unscrew the thing, so I figured, what the hell, let’s try this! Well let me tell you it worked great. Now I keep the small one in my portable boom stick box next to my Hush Device.

Keep the smaller wrench in the kitchen to open jars and the large one is in our RV to assist releasing the black and grey water hose connectors.

The product has true rubber strap and works well. I actually bought this for opening various size canning jars of food. I have very bad arthritis in both hands and this makes it much easier and painless. Normally the small wrench is all that is needed. Occasionally the larger one or both are needed for larger over tightened jars. The tool can be used to tighten various plumbing products as well as that was originally what strap wrenches were designed for. It made with Plastic, Rubber, and Stainless steel. It is. easily kept clean and safe for a kitchen tool.

Works great, helped me fix a shower head much more quickly. Grip feels good, and the sizes are fantastic for a wide range of uses. Very versatile with the adjustments.The material feels incredibly durable as well. It didn’t scuff or get damaged working with the shower head.

I needed to fix my shower faucet, needed something a little of so I don’t break the plastic head. Ordered this set, but it’s not even looking like it actually works. Maybe I don’t know how to use it, but it doesn’t work for what I needed it for. Had to return it.

Rubber is not a sufficient material for this application without some sort of strength increasing woven underlay. Steel belting or synthetic weave would make a good tool that generates both great friction and ability to withstand torque. These are faux tools. The handles are wimpy the straps are worse and the rubber will likely already have cracks in it. The moment you put any sort of force on it it will split. The handles flex absurdly also so if the straps were better they would be the next weak link. I would happily pay triple the price for a tool made with a decent handle and proper strap. This is the epitome of cheap gets expensive after a certain point.

Tal vez no se el uso adecuado que le doy pero me ayudo mucho. Me ayuda a desenroscar el filto del agua de manera fácil (no soy fuerte). Lo recomiendo mucho. Seguramente ha de servir para otros propósitos también (taladros, filtros, tapas de recipientes, etc).

I needed to add a new strap-type wrench to my tool complement. I have had a variety of the metal oil filter strap wrenches over years, but they have fixed diameters, and have gotten bent, misplaced, and most filters I need to remove these days are smaller diameter and mine were the "old-style" larger wrenches. When I went to change out the water filter in my refrigerator the other day, and ended up having to try to get it loose with large channel-lock pliers, I decided it was time to buy a new strap wrench.In reviewing options, these adjustable rubber-strap wrenches looked to be the best solution. This set includes two sizes, and between them will fit the diameter of any filter you might want to remove, as well as working on a wide variety of other cylindrical objects. In close examination (and limited use to date), these are solidly built and yet are compact enough to get into any area that I could reach with my old-style wrenches. The rubber straps have gripped well for me, and the infinite adjustability means that you are not limited to the certain size range that the fixed-type metal wrenches will fit.We'll see how these hold up over time, but as of now the effective performance and very reasonable price makes them well worth adding to your toolbox even if you only need them a couple times a year.
