Just wanted to let people know my experience if you run into the same problems. After following the instruction and installing exactly as it should be, my transfercase was locked in 4lo and would not shift at all. After tearing it completely down twice to look for anything irregular i finally realized that the manufacturer did a poor job of machine the output shaft housing. I had to take a dremel and hog out the shift shaft port due to it being so tight it would bind and they also didnt machine it deep enough so the end if the shaft would bottom out on the plug threads even with it being cut to an exact one inch. After shaving the shaft to 7/8 and the dremel work in the housing it all works perfectly. Im very happy with it overall just know people who arent very mechanically inclined may not realize this potential issue and struggle to find the problem. I hope my review saves some headaches for the diy guys out there.

It seamed a bit intimidating, but following the step by step, it was done in a little over 2 hrs and has helped a ton on my low speed gravel sound!! Smooth as silk

Everything was great as far as installation and quality of parts. Takes about 4 hours in vehicle if you let your rtv setup as you go. Get the right snap ring pliers, you’ll thank yourself later! Only issue is that the kit doesn’t come with new bolts for the yoke.

Installed one of these years ago in a yj, this one went in my tj. Relatively easy install, follow the instructions! Clips are the worst part, something with holes for ring pliers would be awesome but they stuck with stock.
