I put these side steps on a1984 Jeep CJ-7. They are very good Quality. I was expecting less actually. You will need to drill holes in your floors to mount them. I bought 4 longer bolts at my local Hardware store for the spots needing to have spacers. I also bought extra-large washers to use as spacers instead of the small rings provided for this. I like that they look very similar to the Factory steps of that time.

Great solid steps with a nice fit and finish on my '81 CJ-7 but bolts and nuts are junk. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more bucks at the hardware store.

The steps work well, only issue was the holes did not all line up with the stock holes on our Jeep. We fixed it by drilling new hole through the steps (not the Jeep)

Side steps require the back most long bracket to be cut down if you are using the Warn Rock Slider, which was no problem with a sidewinder cut blade and a pair of channel locks to bend a new foot. Otherwise they fit perfectly if using them on a stock Jeep, 5 stars!

First thing is first, this is not "designed to fit," I had to drill holes in my CJ to mount the steps, most pieces I have bought here take no time in disclosing whether or not you have to punch holes or not. Secondly, the hardware that came with this to mount is absolute garbage, after the 4th bolt decided to shear off I made the decision to run to the hardware store for bolts that weren't forged in a coffee can.
