Got these pants for my daughter, her review:I know I am not the target gender for these, but I have had a hard time finding ren faire pants for women. These actually fit very well and are flattering on my body shape. I had to size up because a small was shown on the size chart but not available which is odd. There is a drawstring waist so i can make it fit my waist, and sizing up worked out because the waist still fits but the legs are nice and baggy. The medium fits me well length-wise. I am 5' 6". I have long legs though, so I think the fit length would be good for men too. My only downside is that they are a rougher material. I assumed them being 100% cotton (which now I'm skeptical about) would make them soft, but they feel kinda papery. I think they'd be fine for those who do not care about textures as much. There are also NO POCKETS, so if you wanted pockets, there are none despite that being showed in the picture. Overall, I really like the fit and length of these. The feel is a bit rough and I was hoping for pockets, but those are not deal breakers for me.

These pants are a thin, lightweight material, perfect for those hot days at the renaissance faire. That being said, they do run kind of small. My husband has thicker thighs for a guy, but these didn't end up very baggy at all at his normal size. I'd definitely recommend ordering a size or two up if you want them to look flowy/baggy, and you have a fuller bottom half.The seat/crotch of the pants sat a little too high up too, at his normal size. Just all around they didn't quite fit as pictured. They seem like they'll be very comfortable otherwise though.

I was looking for some pants that would complete my Ren Fair look while still being relatively comfortable with room to breathe. Living in a warmer climate, I wanted something thick enough to last but light enough to not make me sweat. The fabric quality os good and from wearing them they appear to be rip resistant. They fit mr quite well and definitely enhanced my pirate look for this year.

Picked up the 2X size, and yeah—these pants are baggy. Like, “catching a gust of wind and setting sail” kind of baggy. But they still fit great at the waist and taper nicely at the ankles, so you’re not just swimming in fabric.Material feels solid—breathable cotton that’s surprisingly comfy for long wear. Whether you're plundering the snack drawer or just vibing at a Renaissance fair, these pants have the swagger and space to do it all.Heads up: You’ll look like a pirate, feel like you're wearing pajamas, and might accidentally start saying “Arrr” unironically. No regrets.

These were listed as pirate pants. Like a costume. I was not expecting the fabric to be of a very good quality, but I was wrong. The cotton is great! Not a lightweight see through flimsy cotton, but a good fabric that has some weight to it. Not gauze like. I machine washed and dried these. They are a 2xl. They came out fine with just a bit of shrinkage. I have included pics that reflect AFTER washing. My camera did not pic up the rich black color. Nothing whimpy about this black, it is a good, rich black color. For those of you that quilt and sew, I can tell you the black is as rich as a Kona Black cotton fabric. These are constructed with a top hip piece that is cut straight down from the wide elastic, drawstring waist. The hip piece measures about 48" 49" inches around where the seam joins the leg portion. The wide, pleated legs, actually have a seamed panel, in both front and back, for added interest. Elastic down at the ankle is not overly tight and feels fine. The elastic, drawstring waist is gathered to about 38" around. You can use the drawstring to pull it tighter, or the elastic waist band pulls out to the same measurement as the hip piece seam. About 48"-49". Waistband is about 1 1/2" wide. All seams are serged and finished inside pants.I think these are great pants that can be worn as an everyday garment, not only if you need some good pirate pants. These pants can be worn by a man or a woman. These will be especially nice worn with ethnic style tunic tops, jackets, kimonos and those types of garments.

What can I say? These are simple black trousers made of a thin linen-like material (it could be cotton, I'm no seamstress). They do feel breathable, however, which is what you're primarily looking for if you want to LARP, go to the Ren Faire, or make a costume. You want your garments to BREATHE! These don't feel particularly durable, however, as the material is thin, but they do feel comfortable to wear. I would say these strike a great balance between costume and clothes.The cuffs cinch, and there is a simple drawstring at the waist to secure them tightly. The black pants are quite versatile, and the black color is very deep and rich--this was a great dye job! And frankly, they're comfortable enough to just wear around the house. I'm starting to like Runcati stuff!

I was really surprised at how comfortable these were! Definitely have that medieval look for costuming purposes, but I found myself just wearing them around the house after trying them on. Loose fit, elastic to size to your waist, elastic at the ankles, they're like medieval sweatpants. Normally wear a kilt to ren faires but definitely keeping this as an option. Fit well, elastic helps with that.

I would adhere to the sizing chart provided by the company. The pants themselves are smaller around the thigh/ass section then widened out afterwards. They are very comfortable and the fabric allows for wind to enter. My only concern is the fit at the top of the pants. I probably should've ordered up a size, but I didn't adhere to the size chart I just went with my normal size. These will go fine with my renfair outfit.
