These look as advertised. They are not the most comfortable wear, a bit scratchy. They fit well enough for what they are.Overall these work well if you are looking for a decent pirate outfit

Great for Renaissance faire attire! The material was decent, not scratchy. Fit as expected which is good because there's not much give to the fabric. Colors as expected and wash well without bleeding or fading. Great piece for the price.

It fit fine, the color was washed out to grey but what do you expect for 18 bucks. It fits pretty good and not flimsy.

These are exactly what I was hoping for; lightweight, loose, and easy to move around in. The drawstring waist and ankle ties make it easy to get a comfortable fit without things feeling sloppy. The cotton fabric breathes well, which is a plus for wearing during Ren Fair. They were pretty wrinkled out of the package, but a quick wash and hang dry helped smooth them out enough. Not having pockets is annoying though. Visually, they work great. They’re not ultra-accurate historical gear, but they sell the pirate/medieval look well enough for any casual event. If you’ve got boots and a tunic to go with them, you’re good to go.

I got these pants sort of as a joke for my husband, but now he wears them around the house because they are so comfortable! They are like a linen texture, and get softer with each wash but still hold the pleated structure. They are true to size and true to color, and the waistband is stretchy enough to be quite comfortable. They seem to be well made and well stitched. I am only taking off a star because at first my husband said he was itchy wearing them, but once washed the issue went away.

Comfortable, Breezy, and One Pocket Away from Perfect Pirate PantsThese pants really do make you feel like you’ve stepped off a pirate ship—or at least out of a Ren Faire food court with a turkey leg in hand. They’re comfortable, well-made, and light enough to keep you from overheating during your swashbuckling (or slow-walking) adventures. The cotton fabric has a soft, breathable texture with a bit of visual interest—something like a lightweight seersucker, but not quite as puckered. My Rubric✅ Good = Qualifies as a selling point➖ So-So = Not great, but also nothing resembling a showstopper❌ Not Good = Could be a showstopperMy star ratings, which tend to skew upward due to limitations in the 5-star system, are further elaborated in a decimalized scoring at the end of the review. Finally, although some items have been freely offered via the Vine system, I refuse to sell out and will never allow a vendor to influence my scoring through any means other than the quality of the product, both on its own and in relation to the current pricing at the time of my review. I value the efforts of other honest reviewers and wish nothing more than to pay their efforts forward in hopes of faithfully guiding others to informed decisions. The Good✅ Lightweight 100% cotton fabric – breathable and great for warm-weather events✅ True to size – fit was relaxed but not overly baggy✅ Drawstring and elastic waist – easy to adjust and surprisingly secure✅ Ankle laces – nice detail that lets you customize the look (boots? barefoot? up to you)✅ Good costume versatility – Pirate, medieval peasant, Viking, or Renaissance background bardThe So-So➖ Wrinkles on arrival – Like a pirate who's been sleeping in the brig, these show up looking a little rough; nothing a wash and press can’t fix➖ Not quite as pleated as the photos might suggest – Still looks good, but it’s more a suggestion of pleats than the real dealThe Not-Good❌ No pockets – For something this roomy, there’s really no excuse. I’d gladly trade a few ruffles or a drawstring end for a place to stash my wallet and keysThe DetailsI really like the spirit of these pants. They have an easygoing, historically adjacent design that suits everything from cosplay events to costume parties or even just lounging with dramatic flair. The fabric is soft enough for extended wear and thick enough not to feel flimsy. Between the breezy cut and adjustable ankle ties, they move well and look convincingly old-world.Where they fall short is in practicality—namely, the lack of pockets. I don’t need a full cargo layout, but just one or two discreet spots for essentials would’ve made these a knockout. That said, they’re still a strong value for the price and would serve well in any costume wardrobe rotation.Final Rating: 4.0/5(Comfortable, breathable, and great for costumes—but bring a pouch or satchel, because you won’t be pocketing anything in these.)

I got these pirate pants for my husband and he loves them! They look amazing, they are very comfortable and they fit perfectly. The waistband has a drawstring and is also elasticized so they look authentic, but they won't fall down if the drawstring gets untied. The cuffs also lace up and tie at the ankles. They are perfect for men's pirate and medieval costumes. They are also great for festivals and Renaissance fairs or just wearing around the house when you want something loose and comfortable. The fabric is 100% cotton so it breathes and and can be machine washed in cold and tumble dried.

Pro:The style and comfort of the pants are amazing. They fit perfectly on me and I love the relaxed feel of them. The quality of the fabric is above what I expected. The pants are thicker than I thought so they do keep you warm. Not sure how I would fare wearing them in the summer heat to a festival.Con: No pockets to hold items, and not a fan of have to always keep phone, wallet, or keys in my hand while at festival and fairs.
